Light:
The local name of K-2 is Chogori, which in Balti language means the king of mountains. K-2 has variously been described as Awesome, Killer and Savage Mountain. This is because of the Massiveness of its size and unsuccessful attempts made on it by various expedition parties.
K-2 is rocky mountain up to 6000meters, beyond which it becomes an ocean of Snow. K-2 is situated on Pak-Chine border in the mighty Karakoram. In 1954, an Italian expedition came to Pakistan to try its luck on K-2. It consisted of 12 climbers and 4 scientists and was led by Prof. Ardito Desio, on 31st of July 1954 Lino Lacedelli and Achille Compagnoni successfully climbed this great mountain. Extreme Physical condition and excellent climbing experience is required for this peak.

Day To Day Program
Day01: Arrival at Islamabad Airport, Transfer to hotel and briefing in Ministry of Tourism. Sight seen in Shah Faisal Mosque, Daman-e-Koh and Parliament Street.
Day02: Drive to Chilas over Karakoram Highway along mighty Indus river, 11 to 12 hours drive, overnight in hotel.
Day03: Drive to Skardu, 7 to 8 hours drive, overnight in hotel.
Day04: Sight seen in Skardu includes Satpara Lake, Bazar and afternoon final packing for theExpedition.
Day05: Drive by 4 x 4 jeep to Askole(3000meters) the last village before the starting of trek. Here we meet the porters of the trek, overnight tin camp.
Day06: Trek to Jolha: Jolha is located at the altitude of 3300meters and walking distance is 6 to 7 hours, overnight in camp
Day07: Trek to Paiju: Paiju is located at the altitude of 3425meters and walking distance is 5 to 6 hours, overnight in camp.
Day08: Rest Day in Paiju: From here we will have view of Great Trango Tower (6283meters), overnight in camp.
Day09: Trek to Urdukus: Urdukus is located at an altitude of 4050meters, 8 to 9 hours trek, overnight in camp.
Day10: Trek to Goro II: Goro II is located at the altitude of 4382meters. 6 to 7 hours trek, overnight in camp.
Day11: Trek to Concordia: Concordia is located at an altitude of 4650meters, overnight in camp.
Day12: Trek to K-2(8611meters), over night in camp

Day42: K-2 Climbing activities.
Day43: Trek to Concordia, over night in camp.
Day44: Trek to Ali Camp: Ali Camp is located at an altitude of 5010meters. 6 to 7 hours trek, overnight in camp.
Day45: Trek to Kheuspang: Approach march is 10 to 11 hours to the lush green posture of Kheuspang is located at an altitude of 4600meters, overnight in camp.
Day46: Trek to Dalspangpa. Dalspangpa is
located at an altitude 4300meters. Walking distance is 5 to 6 hours,
overnight in camp.
Day47: Trek to Shaicho. Shaichoo is located at an altitude of 3330meters. 5 to 6 hours trek, overnight in camp.
Day48: Trek to Hushe Walking distance is 3 hours. At Hushe jeeps are waiting and continuous drive to Skardu, overnight in hotel.
Day49: Drive to Chilas or Besham, overnight in hotel.
Day50: Drive to Islamabad, overnight in hotel.
Day51: After debriefing, visit Rawalpindi old Bazar and free for shopping.
Day52: Transfer to Islamabad Airport for fly back to destination.
