Day To Day Program
Day01: Arrival at Islamabad Airport, Transfer to hotel, briefing in Ministry of Tourism. Sightseeingof city (Shah Faisal Mosque, Daman-e-Koh and Parliament Street)
Day02: Drive to Chilas over Karakoram Highway along mighty Indus River, 11 to 12 hours drive, overnight in hotel.
Day03: Drive to Skardu, en route view of Nanga Parbat (8126meters) and junction point of three great mountain ranges Himalaya, Karakoram and Hindukush. 7 to 8 hours drive, overnight in hotel.
Day04: Sightseeingin Skardu includes Satpara Lake, Bazar and afternoon final packing for the Trek.
Day05: Drive by 4 x 4 jeep to Askole (3000meters).The last village before the starting of trek. Here we meet the porters of the trek, overnight tin camp.
Day06: Trek to Jolha: Trek along the Braldu River over barren land surrounded by the lofted mountain. Jolha is located on the bank of Dumurdo at the altitude of 3300meters and walking distance is 6 to 7 hours, overnight in camp.
Day07: Trek to Paiju: The trail alternate between the riverbed and terraces above crossing boulder field and side streams until coming to Paiju Glacier out watch Paiju stream. En route the view of Paiju peak 6600meters and the Cathedral Towers 6017meters. Paiju is located at the altitude of 3425meters and walking distance is 5 to 6 hours, overnight in camp.
Day08: Rest Day in Paiju: Paiju is like an Oasis in the desert. Here we have one day rest. Food is distributed among the porters and they will make the local bread for themselves for the rest of trek. From here we will have view of Great Trango Tower 6223meters.
Day09: Trek to Urdukus: It is the longest walk in the whole trek. After 30 minutes of walk we will approach the snout of Baltoro Glacier. En route the view of Uli Biho (6200meters), Name Less Tower 6200meters), Lobsang (6000meters), Urdukus (6800meters), Urdukus is located at an altitude of 4050meters, 8 to 9 hours trek, overnight in camp.
Day10: Trek to Goro II: The trail descents and goes out to the glacier middle. En route the view of Masherbrum (7821meters), Gasherbrum-IV(7952meters)m. Goro II is located at the altitude of 4382meters. 6 to 7 hours trek, overnight in camp.
Day11: Trek to Concordia. Now we are entering in the Throne room of Mountains God Concordia at the altitude of 4650meters, where the Godwin Austin Glacier meets the upper Baltoro glacier. Here we have the Majestic view of K-2 (8611meters) and Broad peak (8048meters), Ghogolisa (7765meters),Gasherbrum-IV(7952meters), Golden Throne (7004meters)and countless lofty peaks.4 to 5 hours trek, overnight in camp.
Day12: Free day in Concordia or day excursion to K-2/Broad Peak Base Camp Trek.
Day13: Trek to Ali Camp. After 4 hours walk we approach Mik-chas camp where Vigne Glacier touches lower Baltoro Glacier. Here we have a view of Gasherbrurm-III (7925meters), Gasherbrum-IV (7952meters),Chogolisa(7765meters),Gasherbrum-V, Gasherbrum-VI. Ali camp is located at an altitude of 5010meters. 6 to 7 hours trek, overnight in camp
Day14: Trek to Kuespang: This the most strenuous and demanding day of the trek. We start walking at 2:00 o’clock in the early morning to avoid the possible danger of rock falling and Avalanches.
Day15: Trek to Dalspangpa. En route view
of Laila Peak (6000meters). Dalspangpa is located at an altitude
4300meters. Walking distance is 5 to 6 hours, overnight in camp.
Day16: Trek to Shaicho. En route the view of Masherbrum La Ice Fall. Shaichoo is located at an altitude of 3330meters. 5 to 6 hours trek, overnight in camp.
Day17: Free day in Shaicho.
Day18: Trek to Hushe with the Majestic view of Masherbrum. Walking distance is 3 hours. At Hushe jeeps are waiting and continuous drive to Skardu, overnight in hotel.
Day19: Drive to Chilas or Besham, overnight in hotel.
Day20: Drive to Islamabad, overnight in hotel.
