Day 01: Arrival in Islamabad & Twin City Sightseeing
Welcome to Pakistan! Upon arrival at Islamabad International Airport, our representative will transfer you to your hotel. In the evening, explore the contrast between the organized capital, Islamabad, and the historic, bustling streets of Rawalpindi. Highlights include the Faisal Mosque and the colorful Raja Bazaar.
Day 02 - 03: The Legendary Karakoram Highway to Gilgit
Begin your journey north along the Karakoram Highway (KKH), one of the world's greatest engineering marvels. We stop overnight in Besham before continuing through the dramatic Indus River canyon to Gilgit, the historic crossroads of the Silk Road.
Day 04: Gilgit Cultural Excursion
Immerse yourself in local history with a visit to the Kargah Buddha, a 7th-century rock carving. Walk through the vibrant Gilgit Bazaar and stand over the rushing Gilgit River on traditional suspension bridges.
Day 05 - 06: Enchanting Hunza Valley (Karimabad)
Drive to Karimabad, the capital of the former Hunza State. Enjoy a full day of sightseeing, including the UNESCO-awarded Baltit Fort and Altit Fort. Experience the unique culture and longevity of the Hunza people while surrounded by peaks like Rakaposhi and Ladyfinger.
Day 07 - 09: Skardu & Shigar Valley Heritage
Travel to Skardu, the gateway to the world's highest peaks. Explore the Shigar Valley, home to the beautifully restored Shigar Fort (Fong-Khar). On Day 9, enjoy a free day to relax or take an optional trip to the Deosai Plains, the world's second-highest plateau.
Day 10 - 13: Return Journey & Departure
We begin our southward journey via Chilas and back to Islamabad. Enjoy a final free day in the capital for last-minute shopping at Jinnah Super Market or a farewell dinner at Monal with panoramic views. On Day 13, we provide a comfortable transfer to the airport for your flight home.
