Phase 1: Ancient Gandhara & The Khyber Pass
Day 01 - 05: Starting in Islamabad, we venture to Peshawar via the ancient ruins of Taxila. We stand at the historic Khyber Pass, a witness to centuries of conquerors. We then explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Takht-i-Bahi before resting in the lush green Swat Valley.
Phase 2: Into the Karakoram (Hunza Valley)
Day 06 - 10: We cross the Shangla Pass and join the legendary Karakoram Highway. Highlights include a 4x4 jeep safari to Naltar Valley, the 600-year-old Baltit Fort, and a sunrise at Duikar for a panoramic "bird's eye" view of the Rakaposhi and mountain peaks.
Phase 3: The Baltistan Experience (Little Tibet)
Day 11 - 17: Drive to Skardu, the gateway to the world's highest glaciers. We explore the Shigar Valley, the stunning Satpara Lake, and the historic Khaplu Valley. Finally, we return through Chilas to Islamabad for a final evening exploring the bustling bazaars of old Rawalpindi.
